About Gramatan Village

Gramatan Village, Inc. ("GV") is a New York State nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping older adults live comfortably, confidently, and independently in the homes and communities they love.

Through trusted community partnerships and service providers, GV offers members access to many of the programs, services, and social opportunities commonly found in high-quality retirement communities — all while remaining at home in Bronxville and the surrounding area.

Membership Terms

Your annual membership begins on the first day of the month in which your membership fee is paid and continues for twelve consecutive months.

Services & Providers

GV works on behalf of its members to identify helpful services, activities, and resources that support aging independently and actively.

Many services are provided by carefully selected third-party providers. GV helps connect members with these providers, who are chosen based on quality, reliability, convenience, and, in some cases, discounted pricing.

In most cases, members contract directly with and are billed directly by the third-party provider for any services received. Gramatan Village does not act as an agent, employee, or representative of any third-party service provider.

Member Satisfaction & Responsibility

One of GV's primary goals is to help ensure members have positive experiences with the programs and services offered through our network. We take member feedback seriously and work continuously to improve the quality of our referrals and partnerships.

Authorization & Communication

To better understand member needs and improve the quality of services offered, members authorize third-party providers to share limited non-medical information with GV regarding the services used.

Members also understand and agree that GV may contact their designated emergency or family contacts if there are concerns related to their health, safety, or well-being.

Release of Liability

As a condition of membership, members agree to the following:

  I release and discharge Gramatan Village from responsibility or liability related to services provided by third-party providers recommended by GV.

  I agree to hold Gramatan Village harmless from any claims, costs, expenses, damages, or legal fees arising from services provided by third-party providers, including claims brought by me, on my behalf, or by my insurance carrier.
